Melody Lawrence

I started making miniatures in 1993 after I bought a Dollshouse magazine at our local bookshop. I was hooked!

As time went by I discovered I particularly enjoyed making furniture, especially in wood and enjoyed showing others how to make up kits.

When the NZAME ran a workshop for Tutor Training I enrolled and became a Tutor. Now I like to make kits of more unusual furniture and at this time I'm using the Arts and Crafts period (1900 - 1910) for inspiration.

I am retired, living in the country with my husband and our two cats.
