Kerry Pajutee

Hello! My name is Kerri Pajutee, and sculpting has been a pleasurable and challenging hobby of mine for over 35 years. After sculpting in earth clays (stoneware & porcelain) for nearly 12 years, I was inspired to create 1:12 scale animals in polymer clay after attending a dollhouse miniature show in 1987. In an effort to make my miniature animal sculpts appear more life-like, I began to apply natural fiber coats in 1999 using tweezers and glue (layer by layer) in alpaca, mohair, silk, cashmere & wool. I enjoy the creative process and strive to ‘capture a spark of personality’ with each individual piece.
I am indebted to my many friends and customers for being internationally recognized as a dollhouse miniature animal artist with feature articles, photos and mentions published in a variety of magazines. I am an honored member of the International Guild of Miniature Artisans (IGMA), achieving Artisan status in 2001, and Fellow Artisan status in 2004.
Today, I balance my life and hobby with wonderful, supportive family and friends, and continue to hone my skills and share my sculpting, fiber & feather tips and techniques with others who wish to try making their own miniature animals.
